seasons of gensi
Each spring of joy
blooms and mingles as my happiness,
and adds a dash to my spirit of living
with eager enthusiasm.
summer like the sparkle of sunshine
enlightens the tiny droplets,
embellishing each spectrum,
a gloomy face smile
and lonely eyes shine.
like the blush of a shy sky
heralds the beautiful dawn
touching each speck of gensi
with Autumnal magic.
when the trees let fall.
the leaves so shrivelled,
there is a hope in a new beginning.
Each care of winter love
embraces my innermost being
and gives me a purpose to live
with exquisite bliss.

the sermon
i dont remember exactly when, but one sunday recently,i went to church.after sometime,i realised i had promised my friend to go to market with her.i was about to leave, but the pastor was just begining his sermon, and i thought it would be rude to get up at that point, and it was a real blessing, because that day i heard things i very much needed to hear.
He said something like:
'in all the languages in the world, there is the same proverb',"what the eyes dont see,the heart doesnt greive over"well i say that there isnt an ounce of truth in it.the further off they are,the closer to the heart are all those feelings that we try to repress and forget.if we're in exile,we want to store every tiny memory.if we're far from our freinds, everyone we pass in the street reminds us of them.
At the end of the service,i went up to him and thanked him:i said that i was a stranger in a strange land, and i thanked him for reminding me that"what the eyes dont see,the heart does greive over".

December Rose
i still remember that foggy, silent and lonely december morning.i sat looking through the window at the windswept garden thinking about something which i,myself even don't know.all of a sudden,i caught the sight of two rose bushes by the garden wall..each with a single rose, one white and one red.a feeling of warmness felt my sight,i stepped slowely by the window sill to have a better glimpse....a desire overpower me to touch the velvety softness of the petals.......so pulling on my coat,i faced the cold icy wind(ignoring that it was slapping my face)to touch the petals breadth in perfume of a dying year.

FAVOURITE PLACE IN GUWAHATI
A corner where one can enjoy the beauty of ghy... naked hills dark in complexion, romantic greeneries and seducing flowing brahamaputra from the terrace, accompanied by countless crows....trying to impress all the inhabitants around with its awful voice.Being accompanied by them makes me feel so alive and free, cos even being so ugly and neglected by many they makes there world free from all distractions.they are unaware of this big bad world..seems there world is full of myriad happiness...all these seeds of feelings got sprouted in my heart since the very first time i sat here...which is the only part of the terrace where you won't find crow shit,i am addicted to this corner from where i had got to know the world and its people better.whenever i am confused and m split i come to this place to gather myself...every thoughts pop up here and ends here, this place works as "my guide"........................watching the traffic stuck in the street from above gives a clear idea of life in a few aspects.our life is like the cars stucked in the traffic.we get stuck sometimes when we are disappointed and has no way to go.lots of people come and go,sometimes they do stuck with us but when the signal is given and the road is open everybody takes their way without giving a last glance and the very next moment we find ourself alone running down the street.during the vacation i miss this place a lot, even after graduation if i opt for another course,i know i ll be missing this place a lot.

june 12
when we meet someone and fall in love,we have sense that the whole universe is on your side.i saw this happen today as the sun went down.and yet if something goes wrong, there is nothing left!no distant music....nothing.....how is it possible for the beauty that was there only minutes before to vanish so quickly?
BIT PERPLEXED
I've already been here an eternity.i spend all day listening to music on radio, lying on bed, looking around my room, thinking about the future, longing for class to begin and when i'm in class, longing to get back to the room...in other words,i am living the future not the present.one day ,at some distant future date after graduation i'll be back at home , marry someone and settle down .but before i die , i want to fight with life .if i can walk on my own ,i can go wherever i like.
